Laos - Vientiane - Where to sleepTai-Pan Hotel

Tai-Pan Hotel

One of the smartest business addresses in town, the Tai-Pan enjoys a central location close to the riverfront. The smart rooms include Internet connection, satellite TV and minibar, and some have balconies with a view of the street below.

The standard rooms are slightly on the small side, but for a few extra dollars you can upgrade to the more spacious deluxe rooms. All rooms have polished wooden floors and well-equipped bathrooms, complete with the usual hotel giveaways. A wide selection of suites is available, including two-bedroom options, which work well for families travelling together. There is also a swimming pool and a fitness centre for anyone in need of a workout. Business hotels can be fairly sterile, but there are enough little touches at the Tai-Pan to break the mould. Guests are welcomed with a fruit platter in their room and free transport is provided to and from the airport for guests on international flights. Prices include breakfast.
