There are plenty of parks, mountains and volcanoes for visitors who enjoy walking, geology or for those who simply take pleasure in stunning scenery. The Teide National Park is right in the centre of the Island and has been declared a UNESCO world heritage site. It is home to Mount Teide, the highest peak in Spain. Needless to say the view from the top is stunning and can be reached by cable car if you don’t fancy the walk! The marine environment is also of note and provides plenty of scuba diving and snorkelling opportunities. There are also numerous available which offer, amongst other things, whale and dolphin watching or opportunities to explore this dramatic coastline.

For those looking for 5 star Tenerife holidays you will find that the largest resorts are located in the south of the Island, near the beaches. Los Cristianos is a lively resort town on the southern tip of Tenerife and the highly recommended Arona Gran is located here. Los Cristianos boasts some of the best beaches on the island, with plenty of bars and restaurants and lots of water sports opportunities.

An elegant hotel built in the colonial fashion it allows visitors to enjoy the sophistication of the capital city, with easy access to the rest of the Island.
